Brain Expansions Scholastic Training, Inc. is a vital 501(c)(3) nonprofit organization that attempts to moderate the negative impacts of apathy and lack of available educational services on the underserved youth population of Tampa, Florida and beyond. B.E.S.T.™ has encouraged disadvantaged youth to focus on careers in the medical profession and has provided an educational curriculum as a vehicle to empower success to these students in fulfilling their dreams. B.E.S.T.™ has taken students with disadvantaged backgrounds and given them hope, guidance and ultimately careers in the healthcare field consistently serving the Tampa Bay community.
B.E.S.T.™ Memory Education Program
B.E.S.T. believes that memorization skills are the stepping-stone to thinking. Without remembering facts, one cannot think, conceptualize, reason, make decisions, create or contribute.
B.E.S.T.™ Summer Medical Academy
The majority of human beings in our world will be touched one day by a medical health professional. It might be a doctor, nurse, therapist, or one of the many professionals that provide services to our societies.
B.E.S.T.™ Social Determinants Program
The B.E.S.T.- SD Program is a complimentary expanded program with an innovative curriculum that is a year-round program that prepares young thought leaders in the area of social determinants of health.
B.E.S.T.™ Dunbar Doc Program
The goal of this partnership is to create and offer a pathway program for Dunbar students, primarily students of color, to continue their journey in studying within the Medical Field beginning at the elementary level through high school and beyond.
